A. Short Message Service SMS

This will enable you to receive short messages from SMS center (141) or directly from other mobile phones and compose a message to send it to other VinaPhone subscribers.

B. Voice mail service (VMS)

To use this service, you have to activate DTMF function and divert calls to Voice Mail Box. Voice Mail Service enables you to forward incoming calls to your Voice Mail Box when your mobile phone is out of coverage area or when you turn off your handset or do not want to answer.  

Subscriber who registers this service will have a personal Voice Mail Box (Vietnamese or English) with subscription number coinciding subscriber's phone number. Each Voice Mail Box has one secured password. Only subscriber by dialing 942 from his mobile phone and entering the correct password will be allowed to access

Registration fee: free of charge

•  Forwarding calls to VMS: free of charge.

•  Sending message to VMS: when A calls to B, B diverts the call to B's Voice Mail Box, A must pay the same charge as of a normal call .

•  Listen to messages: charge by 50% of local airtime charge according to listening time (VND900/minute).

C. Facsimile service

Allow subscribers to send and receive fax through their mobile phones. Using this service, you must

have a laptop, a card modem and connecting cable (connecting cable must be compatible with type of

handset).

•  Registration fee : free of charge

•  Fax-data charge: the same charge as of normal speech call.

D. Data Transmission Service

Using this service, you can connect your computer to your mobile phone, and transfer data files through GSM network.

E. Internet Access         

With one computer and one mobile phone you can access to Internet. To use this service, you should be a subscriber of any ISP in Vietnam and having registered Data service of VinaPhone. Instead of using fixed line, your computer will be connected to Internet through mobile phone. With this service, you can access the Internet and send/receive email any time, any where.

G. Call Barring

This service allows you to bar international outgoing calls or unexpected outgoing calls. When making an international call, you should remember your personal password for the service activation.

H. Call Forwarding    

You can forward incoming calls to a fixed phone, or to other mobile phones or to voice mail box when necessary. To active or deactive the service please use phone menu or set directly from keyboard as follows:

Charge principle: A calls B, B forwards call to C 

•  A pays call charge to B's registered location

•  B pays call charge from its registered location to C's location

I. Call Waiting     

Call waiting service helps you to recognize another incoming call to your phone when you're talking with somebody. With call waiting service activated, your phone is always available to receive incoming calls. 

To activate or deactivate the service, please manipulate as follows:

J. Call Line Identification Presentation

This service helps you to know the callers' numbers when you receive calls. This service will be activated automatically by system when you register to VinaPhone's network.

K. Call holding service       

With this service you can put the first call in holding status while making another call. There are different call-holding cases:

•  Holding an incoming call to receive another incoming call

•  Holding an incoming call to make an outgoing call

•  Holding an outgoing call to receive another incoming call

•  Holding an outgoing call to make another outgoing call

L. Call Line Identification Restriction service

This service allows you to prevent your phone number from being displayed on screen of other phones when you making call.
