REGISTRATION PROCEDURE


Customers may go to counters of Hanoi Telecommunication Company to register CityPhone service.

Note : You can download necessary documents for service registration here.

When registering CityPhone service, customers should present documents as follows:

I. POST-PAID CITYPHONE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

I.1. Customers are individuals

I.1.1. For Vietnamese customers with ID card issued by the Hanoi Police

- A signed Contract/ Registration form of using service.

- ID card. If the ID card is not available, the customer can present one of the following papers as:

       Military identity card;

       Police identity card;

       Driving license;

       Valid passport.

I.1.2. For Vietnamese customers with ID card issued by the Police of other cities provinces

- A signed Contract/ Registration form of using service.

- ID card. If the ID card is not available, the customer can present one of the following papers as:

       Military identity card;

       Police identity card;

       Driving license;

       Valid passport.

- One of the following papers as:

q       A document affirmed, signed, sealed by the competent person in Hanoi State owned offices / enterprises where customer is employed and signed over-3-year labour contract;

q       Ownership papers of the house/ apartment in Hanoi or land/ house in Hanoi renting contract.

I.1.2 – For expatriate customers:

- Valid passport;

- Documents guaranteed by the Embassy or legal representative offices in Vietnam. (Documents are not necessary to person having diplomatic passport).

I.2. Customers are companies, organizations,…

I.2.1. Customers are State owned offices and enterprises in Hanoi:

- A sealed and signed by the competent person Contract/ Registration form of using service.

I.2.2. Customers are limited companies, stock companies, diplomatic organizations and representative offices in Hanoi, etc…:with business license in Hanoi:

- Valid license on establishment of the company/ representative office in Hanoi issued by relevant Vietnamese competent agencies;

- A sealed and signed by the competent person Contract/ Registration form of using service.

I.2.3. Customers are limited companies, stock companies, with valid business license issued by Planning and Investment Department of other provinces…:

- A sealed and signed by the competent person Contract/ Registration form of using service;

- One of the following papers as:

q       Valid business license;

q       Ownership papers of the house/apartment in Hanoi or land/house in Hanoi renting contract.

II. PRE-PAID CITYPHONE (CityPhoneP) REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Whenever customers want to use CityPhoneP, they should go to counters of Hanoi Telecommunication Company or any of it's agents to register. When registering CityPhoneP, customers need:

+ Present identity card or other valid personal documents with photos.

+ Fulfill all information in the Registration form of CityPhoneP to enjoy after-sale programs. This form is kept by customers.

- CityPhoneP service registration form:

+ User's name

+ Identity card number.

+ CityPhoneP number:

+ Number of the personal subscriber's identification (PSID).

+ Date of registration.

+ Subscriber's password to have assistance from 800116 in case of emergency – CityPhone Service Centre

III. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE OF CHANGING FROM PRE-PAID CITYPHONE (CityPhoneP) TO POST-PAID CITYPHONE

Registration procedures: the same as of Post-paid CityPhone

Note:

+ When changing to post-paid CityPhone, the rest from the account will pay for the next bill.

+ The used CityPhone number hasn’t changed.

+ The changing fee is VND 20,000 (VAT included).

IV. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE OF CHANGING FROM POST-PAID CITYPHONE TO PRE-PAID CITYPHONE (CityPhoneP)

Registration procedures: the same as of CityPhoneP

Note:

+ Customer can change the service only when the contract is still effective.

+ Customer should pay the charges until the time of changing service and the connection fee (when registering the post-paid CityPhone service) is not returned.

+ The used CityPhone number hasn’t changed and customer doesn't have to pay the changing fee.

V. COMMUNICATIONS STOP ON EMERGENCY

When a customer wants to stop communications outgoing and/or incoming in case of emergency such as losing handset, he/she should:

- Call 800116 (CityPhone Service number) from 07h00 to 21h00 or call 9361180, 9361181 (CityPhone exchange centre) from 21h00 to 07h00 of the following day. Customers should inform such information as:

+ For private contracts: CityPhone number, subscriber's name, number of identity card and address for requesting to stop the service.

+ For contracts of companies, organizations,…: CityPhone numbers, subscriber's name, name of the caller.

- Or go to counters of Hanoi Telecommunication Company.

VI. THE PROCEDURE OF CONTRACT RECOVERY

For service recovery customers should present following documents:

VI.1. Customer signing Contract/ Registration of using service registers procedures:

- ID card. If the ID card is not available, the customer can present one of the following papers as:

       Military identity card;

       Police identity card;

       Driving license;

       Valid passport.

VI.2. For customer who didn’t sign Contract/ Registration of using service registers service:

-  Personal documents with photos of person signing Contract/ Registration form of using service

- Personal documents with photos of person registering service.

- A Contract/ Registration form of using service

Contract recovery points:

- For post-paid CityPhone subscribers: Customers should come to the Customer Service Centre of Hanoi Posts and Telecommunications or Suburban District's Post offices.

- For pre-paid CityPhone subscribers: Customers should come to counters of Hanoi Telecommunication Company.

The Service recovery points are:

- Telecom counters of Hanoi Telecommunication Company at:

+ 811 Giai Phong Road

+ 75 Dinh Tien Hoang street

- Counters of Customer Service Centre at:

+ 4 Dinh Le street

+ 97 Nguyen Chi Thanh road

+ 51 Vu Trong Phung street

+ 18 Nguyen Du street

+ 63 Dao Tan street

+ 174 Nguyen Luong Bang street

+ 14 Dang Tien Dong street

+ ……….
